Restoration and French polishing of 10-foot doors

This was a wonderful project to work on the restoration and French polishing of these beautiful 10-foot doors of Mount Kennedy House. First, we had to dismantle the doors and reconstruct and glue the doors after that we had to strip off all the old Polish then we had to sand several times with find sandpaper then the client had to decide what color he would like the doors as before they were quite dark so we decided to go just with the natural mahogany and then the process of French polishing started which took several hundred layers of Polish to get a magnificent finish. The client was extremely delighted with the finish.
